 Welcome to the Treasurers' Page. This page will provide you with some important tax information such as tax rates and due dates for non delinquent taxes.

 

2007 Township Tax Rates were as Follows:

Non-Homestead Rate- 44.8455 mills per $1,000 of Taxable Value.
Homestead Rate-26.8455 mills per $1,000 of Taxable Value.
Additional Millage Rate for Village Properties-17.2024 mills per $1,000 of Taxable Value. 
Summer Taxes due and payable without penalty or interest July 1st through September 14th.
1% interest September 15-September 30th, plus 1% interest per month thereafter.
3% penalty after February 14th
Winter taxes are due before February 15th without penalty.
3% penalty applied after February 14th

Begining March 1st all real estate property taxes must be paid to C.Hugh Dohany, Oakland County Treasurer, 1200 N. Telegraph, Pontiac, MI 48431 with 4% county property tax administration fee and 1% interest per month until paid.

Dog Licenses
A Dog must be licensed at 4 months instead of 6 months!
Dog Licenses' will be delinquent after June 1st. Licenses' expire 5/31 of each year. The licenses' are issued by the authority of C. Hugh Dohany, Oakland County Treasurer.
Fees:
Spayed/Nuetered - $7.50
*Senior Citizens Price - $6.75
Male/Female - $15.00
*Senior Citizens Price - $13.50
Delinquent Licenses' - $30.00

You must bring a proof of rabies shot for your dogs in order to purchase a license.

You must also bring proof of Spay/Nueter to recieve this discounted rate.

If you have a limiting disability which may require assistance in obtaining your dog license, please contact our office.

* Senior Citizen price for dog owners 65 years of age or older.(Must show proof) 

You must bring proof that a dog has been neutered or spayed.
